Your assistant can use any plan you can open in Yield Clarity, including plans shared with you.

Change contributions, retirement date, returns or inflation, or add a one-off cost, and compare with your plan. Nothing is saved.
Monte Carlo
The chance of reaching FI by your target date, and of your money lasting through retirement.
History and decisions
Month-by-month portfolio history, and how each saved decision moves your FI date.

Setting it up

Three steps, about a minute

  1. 01

    Copy the address

    In Yield Clarity, open Settings → AI assistants and copy the connection address.

  2. 02

    Add it to your assistant

    Paste it into Claude's connector settings or ChatGPT's app settings. The settings page shows the steps for each.

  3. 03

    Sign in and allow

    Sign in to Yield Clarity, check what the assistant will be able to see, and choose Allow.

  • Read-only

    An assistant can't add, change or delete anything in your plan.

  • Disconnect any time

    Remove an assistant in Settings. Changing your password or two-step verification removes them all.

  • Same calculations

    Figures come from Yield Clarity's forecasting engine, so they match the app.

Which AI assistants can I connect?

Claude and ChatGPT, and other apps that support MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard both use for connectors.

Can the assistant change my plan?

No. The connection is read-only. An assistant can read your plans and run what-if calculations, but what-ifs aren't saved and it can't add, change or delete anything.

Do the answers match the app?

The figures do. Your assistant gets them from Yield Clarity's own calculations, so FI dates, forecasts and Monte Carlo results match what you see in the app. The wording around them is the assistant's own.

Does it cost extra?

Connecting an assistant is included with Pro. The assistant's own usage counts towards your plan with Anthropic or OpenAI, not Yield Clarity.

What does the assistant receive?

Only what it asks for to answer your question, such as your forecast or a list of holdings. That goes to the company that runs the assistant and is handled under your agreement with them. Your password and broker credentials are never shared.

Security

How do I disconnect?

Open Settings → AI assistants and choose Disconnect. Access ends immediately. Changing your password or two-step verification disconnects every assistant.
